Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Junior Lawyer / Legal Secretary. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for law and a desire to kick-start their career in the legal field. As a Junior Lawyer / Legal Secretary, you will work closely with senior legal professionals, providing essential support in various legal matters. This role offers valuable experience and the chance to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Legal Research: Conducting thorough legal research on cases, statutes, and regulations to provide relevant information to senior lawyers.
- Document Preparation: Assisting in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and briefs.
- Case Management: Supporting lawyers in managing case files, including organizing documents, maintaining records, and preparing court filings.

- Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulations in all tasks and activities.
- Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with other members of the legal team to ensure smooth workflow and successful outcomes.

Requirements
- Legal Qualification: A degree in law or relevant legal qualification is preferred. However, students currently enrolled in a law program or recent graduates awaiting formal certification are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases.
- Prior Experience: While prior experience is not mandatory, any experience in a legal setting or relevant administrative role would be advantageous.
